1 to 3 Bedroom cabins have a Check-In time after 4 pm and Check-Out before 11 am. 4+ Bedroom cabins have a Check-In time after 4 pm and Check-Out before 11 am. This policy is due to there being a lot of time that goes into cleaning and sanitizing the cabin before every guest arrives. For example, if you booked for 3 nights - Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights... you would need to check out no later than 11am Sunday morning.
5When will I be charged?
The non-refundable $100 booking deposit will be charged right away. The remaining balance will be charged to the same credit card you used for the deposit 14 days prior to your arrival. When reservation is made 14 days or less, the entire amount will be charged.
6How do we get the keys and check in?
There is not a central location to check in like you would at a hotel. Your booking email will include a key code and detailed driving directions. Please print these directions when you receive them. When you depart, please make sure the cabin is locked and secured as it was when you arrived.
7What do we need to bring?
You will need to bring something to eat during your stay, unless you plan on eating at the local restaurants. You'll need to bring clothes and personal hygiene items. Our kitchens are fully furnished, including cooking utensils, pots, pans, glasses, plates, propane gas grills, towels and linens . The cabins are fully furnished.
8Can we check in early or check out late?
No, this is due to the time needed to clean the cabin and make it ready for the next guest. For example, if there was a guest wanting to stay late in the cabin you booked, I doubt you would be very happy with us if we called, while you were en route to the cabin, to let you know it will be a few hours (or more) after 4 pm before you can check in.
9What is the address of the cabin for my GPS?
There's currently not an actual address for any of the cabins. You will receive detailed driving directions and instructions on how to reach the cabin. The area is currently going through a 911 update for mapping purposes.
10Can I book a cabin for one night?
2 nights is the minimum you can book a cabin during the Off Peak season. Holiday and Peak seasons there's a 3 night minimum.
11Do you accept cash or take a check?
No, we only accept a major credit card.
12Is smoking allowed?
Yes, you just cannot smoke inside the cabin. While smoking outside please use an ashtray and do not throw your butts on the grounds (not that you would). There will be a $60 grounds cleaning charge if there's any butts on the property. Also need to disclose, if there's any evidence of smoking or a smell of smoke in the cabin, there will be a $150 charge to your credit card on file. This will be paid to a cleaning company to rid the property of the smell. We're not meaning to pick on you... those are charges we incur and have to pay.
13Can I bring my dog?
Some of the cabins do allow dogs. The 'pet policy' is listed on the specific cabin page. If dogs are allowed, the maximum number is two. No other animals are allowed. Please note, excessive pet hair or any urine stains will result in an additional $100.00 cleaning charge to be processed to your credit card on file. Failure to comply with the cabins that have a No pet policy will result in an eviction, and an additional cleaning charge of $100.00
14Is there somewhere local I can buy groceries and other stuff I might need?
Yes. That's a frequent question as many people prefer to purchase food items instead of bringing it with them. There's a Walmart and Pruett's Grocery in Broken Bow and several convenience stores in Hochatown.
